The Zhushan Sunrise Railway is considered one of the highest-altitude forest railways in the world. Before dawn, guests board the historic sunrise train, winding gently through mist-laden forests on an unforgettable journey above the clouds. As the sky transitions from deep indigo to glowing amber, a breathtaking sunrise emerges above rolling cloud layers and distant mountain peaks,  a moment of pure magic and timeless beauty.
Stroll beneath towering millennia-old cypress trees, where sunlight filters through layers of emerald foliage, casting dappled shadows along the forest floor. The Sacred Tree Trail, wooden walkways veiled in soft mist, and the gentle sounds of the forest invite quiet reflection. Alishan House seamlessly blends history, elegance, and modern comfort. Once reserved for royalty and distinguished guests, its refined interiors draw inspiration from the Japanese colonial era. From sweeping mountain panoramas to ethereal seas of clouds and unforgettable sunrises, every view is a masterpiece. The mountain-view restaurant at Alishan House showcases locally sourced, seasonal ingredients transformed into thoughtfully crafted alpine cuisine. Terms & Conditions
Minimum age requirement: 5 years and above
Guests aged 5–18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
Tour participation is not permitted for unaccompanied minors
If the tour is cancelled by the organizer due to force majeure (including natural disasters, government regulations, or pandemic-related reasons), a full refund will be issued
If a guest cancels due to personal reasons, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour price will apply
The organizer reserves the right to adjust the itinerary sequence due to operational or weather conditions without compromising the overall experience
